Why Attend A NARPM Conference?
We just finished up our 2nd annual NARPM Florida State Chapter conference, and what a great event it turned out to be. There were over 130 Property Managers from all over the state of Florida and 24 vendors that joined us at the Westin Lake Mary Hotel.
A very special thanks to Dave Borden, Adam Field, Tonya O'Dell, Jonathan Ewen and Clay Carter, the team at PropertyManagerWebsites.com (our Conference Gold Sponsors) for creating such a spectacular Conference website for our NARPM Florida State Chapter.
Being a Property Management Company in Kissimmee events like these are very crucial to us to ensure that we are on top of the new trends, keep up with the latest in technology and stay up to date on legal issues within the Property Management Industry.
This conference offered so many different educational opportunities, a CE Course taught by Gail Moncla from Property Management University (our Platinum Conference Sponsor) about Security Deposit Evaluations and Disputes. In the general session we welcomed Betsy Morgan from Prudential Tropical Realty explaining to us "Why It's A Great Time To Be In Property Management."
Robbie Tarter of FloridaRentalAds.com and Alex Osenenko of Fourandhalf.com teamed up as the "dynamic duo" and shared with us their wisdom about Search Engine Optimization and how to spend your marketing dollars more effectively, in other words, "Internet Marketing In Plain English."
We also had Michele Brassard, NARPM Florida State Chapter President, "Explain Resident Rights During A Foreclosure." Stacey McKay joined us to find out "Are You Marketing Your Business Or Just Your Properties." Then Mike McVety showed us all how to go from "400 Homes To 580 Homes In Less Than 18 Months."
Dave Bragg of Zelman & Associates and our Expert Panel consisting of Jayci Grana, NARPM President, Fred Thompson and Mike McVety explained Rental Statistics and how they affect our industry.
A special session with Warren Sanger of the DBPR joined us to explain "What To Expect On An Audit." This put to rest a lot of fear about the DBPR for most os us...
Then to close the Conference was NARPM's Southeastern Regional Vice President, John Bradford, with his wisdom and wit, he explains how we should "Work On Our Business & Not In Our Business."
